how do you switch to carburator? and what do you guys use? i see alot of kfx450's with trx carbs...

i have atps carb kit on both my bikes. for starters if you have a stock rear shock you cant use it because the rezzy on the stock shock hits the carb. With atp you get the 41FCR. you send them your harness and they cut it down. you loose the regualtor, fuel pump and all that. alot more reliable. you can aslo get it from walsh but walsh doesnt cut down your harness and they use a stock crf450 dirtbike carb.

its 1200 but you cant run a stock rear shock beacuase the rezzy on the stock shock hits the carb

i love it. my practice bike is still fuel injected. its just less problems. and less weight. you loose the fuel pump, regulator and half to wire harness. i also have the kick start on my race bike. with the kickstart and carb you loose 29 pounds off the bike and as far as the kickstart i have never had a problem with it either
