Hi, i have a yamaha YFZ450R, i race motocross with a lot of jumps but the standard shocks are not good enough, got any ideas on the best aftermarket suspension for this?? I've heard that Ohlins are quite good!?

go with fox shox at least.... and whatever a arms you buy make sure they address the caster issue... ie... they have a rear caster bracket...

Check out JB Racing. I think that is what Thomas and Pat Brown were running and they have a upper bracket as well. Fox or PEP shoud be great for MX.

Jb makes amazing swingers and a arms for the yfzr and some good shocks would be elka factorys,pep,custom axis or fox

Honestly, most people won't notice the caster issue. Its slightly more noticeable when you do woods races than mx.

If you do want to try and fix it, make sure you check your series rules. Most of the fixes that people have come out with are illegal for production class rules because they change the pivot point. Teixeira Tech will be coming out with something soon to address the issue and be legal for production.

The Roll Design arms seem to have gotten rid of the caster problem I don't notice any problem with mine, also the Ohlins shocks are awesome and easy to dial in, I don't think the ones that I have are available to the public yet though. But look for the Ohlins TTX shocks.
