Is there a way to get the head off a DS without removing the engine? It keeps hitting the frame.
My boy is trying it having problems...
Thanks!

Take the side rail out. All the stuff on top. fuel tank electrics etc. And you will have to take one of the head studs out. it is tight but it will ocme off without the engine coming out. And also have a good look at the timing marks on the cams before you take it apart. as they dont line up eaxactly.

The only way to get the head off inside the frame is by pulling the top frame rail off, You can replace the rivets with bolts and then you will be able to do it.

weve had it off 2 or 3 times with out having to take the rivets out the top frame rail.
