hey guys i have a 1985 suzuki lt 50 quad runner that i just rebuilt for my son. It has been a fun project. Well now that it is near completion i got it started the other day and it is puking oil out th exhaust pipe. It is trying to mix so much oil in with the gas that the oil is dripping oiut the back as it is running. it will not idle because of it too. I am thinking that i need to adjust the oil somehow but i am not sure where or what to do. Please help. It is the old two stroke motors.
THANKS

I don't think you can adjust them. The quick fix is, drain the oil out, plug the oil line and just mix your gas.

What is the ratio?

50/1 might be a little rich but that is better than lean. I looked in my service manual, there is a way to test the flow of the pump, but there is no adjustment to the pump.

I think that since it has just been sitting for the past ten years it may just need to be cleaned and put back to gether properly. I cleaned everything else. I guess this is what i get for cutting a corner. Hey you have a service manual...where did you get it? I need one so bad. What would it take to get you to make a photocopy and send it to me? I can't find one anywhere.
