They seem pretty close, just figured I would ask before draining 2 full tanks of fuel.

Not sure, but the Blaster petcock does mount up to a Z400 fuel tank.

It should. I have the Banshee petcock on mine, the Blaster petcock is a different part number but uses the same gasket and screws as the Banshee so I would say yes.
