Alright ltr guys, my dad just picked one up for himself and he's just about done breaking it in. What we're wondering is what is the best oil to run. My brother swears by the rotella and uses it in his ltr but I personally don't think it's good. Just lookin to see what you guys are running n your opinions. This is gona be the first oil change n we're gona try to run the same oil from here on out.

I second the AMSOIL, more specifically the (AFF) 4-Stroke 0W-40 but the (MCV) 20W-50, the (MCF) 10W-40 or the (MCT) 10W-30 Motorcycle oil would also be a good choice.
I use the (AFF) 0W-40 in my Honda

Can't go wrong with Rotella... I know quite a few people run it on here.

Where do I even get Bel-Ray, I honestly don't think I've ever seen it at any of our local powersport stealerships or performance shops

Cycle shops I've been in around here carry it. If your doesn't, you can get from rocky Mountain or Dennis Kirk... Little more $$ that way though.

Bel-Ray is about $8 in RMC. Can't go cheap on oil. It's semi-synthetic too.
