I am thinking about buying a new quad and wanted a ltr but have heard about a lot of tranny problems they have. Is this true with the 09's? And if it is, is it easy to fix? Or should I wait for the 2010 quad.

i think they fixed the 3rd gear a little but it still breaks...i would wait to see what they come out with next

the 09 3rd gear is just as bad as the 08's. my friends 3rd gear went out last nov and he put the 09 3rd in it and it only lasted about 4-5 months
