i have a home made street bike pipe, pink wire cut stock filter bold 18s on the rear and i still got the hole shot .. vs 10 bikes. there was one 450 sx ktm, a 480 yamaha, and 2 really fast ltrs .. no one was running stock quads.. i yea a 20k yamaha with fox shocks and race motor.. me stock everything 46 inches wide..
for some reason i always do good on the holeshot. track was ruff in san jose california its called the 408 mx .. there was so many triples and its was ruff .. and thats where the can am shines. no rider fatige at all. i wonder if i only had a fully racebike.
#1 its really hard to slide in the turns with the holeshots when new on a wet track. so i took some bold holeshots.
#2 it jumps really good .
#3 i like the motor so smooth. in the turns its hard to control the more power you have. thats why 2 strokes are gone.

Congrats on the win. I have had similar luck against similar bikes. I am not an A rider by any means, (I race quad novice or B Class) but stacked up against guys with more motor and more experience than me, my 450 x MX holds up really well.

you have a better model 50 inches wide. i have a yamaha full race bike and did good too.. i will always tell people that i could win a race on a bone stock bike and i did it.. video coming soon..
my point is that there is no way i can do this on a stock honda,kawasaki,older yamaha, i do like the ltr alot .. everyone was in shock.. yes i know ktm is a good bike hands down..
my friend is a pro .. and i can take him on his stock 2009 yamaha.

yea my friend on his full race bike was second on the holeshot and got last.. do you really think thats winnig is luck. not vs 8 or more riders.. this track had monster jumps. and woops, and it was full of ruts cause they also ran the dirt bikes on the same day. i have some bad *** pics on myspace find me under my emaill florentinohurtado@hotmail.com my point is can the stock ds shocks are so nice .. you dont get that on a honda.. how do i know cause i have one..
