my battery is going very weak after only 3 or 4 days. i've taken the key out and have no electric accessories that are on. the battery is only a couple months old. what could cause it to die?

check all your grounds and connections also check your rectifier.

keep in mind that it could just be a bad battery i would just unhook it when your done

do you use a battery maintainer on it? or charge it every so often? also you can take your battery off your bike and check it with a multimeter, charge it up, and when it is full, take a reading, then come back a couple hours later, and take another reading, if the voltage dropped with out a load placed on it, then there is a weak or dead cell. Also, if you dont have a volt meter, then you can bring it to a local car parts store, and they can let you know if it is good or not.

i'm just leaving it on the tender for now since i'm not riding much. i will get a new one this spring
