$3900 a good buy on a used 450R from a dealer?

I have a chance to pickup a lightly used KFX450R, 2008 for $3900. It seems like a great deal. Does that seem like a decent price? I don't follow the 450 prices.

I currently have an 06 TRX400EX that I bought new about 10 months ago from a dealer that still have an 06 leftover. I keep adding stuff to it to the point it made me look into a 450 and here I am. I was going to purchase shocks for my 400, but before I dump $700 into shocks am I just better off with the 450R?

My 400 handles great and I don't race, but I always like more power and better handling/suspension. I have more wrapped up in my 06 Honda than it would cost me to get the 450R.

I have an 08 kfx450... all my buddies have 400ex's & I smoke them all in a race.
way more power & alot better suspension. when we swap bikes, I am constantly bottoming out their bikes when I jump. I dont notice it on mine. so much more bike. 3900 is a good price for one. especially if its low hours or has an mods.

Thanks. I went to buy the quad and it was beat to shi... Both front tires flat, decals gone, A-arm bent badly. None of this showed in the pics and the owner of the dealership was the one I was working with.

thats a good price .ive got two for sale low hrs each.a black one,stock.asking 3900 for it .its mainley stock. new tires, pipe . and a team green one with around ten hrs.with many goodies.asking 4800.

depending on the distance, might be worth a look.

I just bought an 08 KFX 450R for $3700 which he barely rode. It's in Mint condition only a little bit of dust on it from sitting in his garage. It's my first quad but I've drove a Honda 400ex, LTR450, and a dvx400 and I've been driving fourwheelers and dirtbikes since around 8 and I'm now 16 so I kinda figure I know what I'm doing riding and stuff.

Well I went another route and bought an 08 Can Am 450x new for $4400. Just arrived today. Can't wait to try it out. Starting a rain trend this week and my boss is in town so it may be a couple days before I get a chance.

I just saw one of those for the first time last week. nice lookin bikes. Since the frame bolts together, I hear they like to come undone... something to keep your eye on. make sure everything is tight.
