Has anyone ever had issues with the electric starter after raising the compression ratio? We shaved off .040, and the motor spins over with the spark plug out but with it in you get nothing. Is my starter weak or should I get a recoil starter for it?

By the way, the starter relay was brand new, and the batter was fully charged (granted I borrowed it from my GSXR lol)

.040 off won't stop a LT80 starter.
I've had 200 plus comp and it still started w/o problems.
