hot 750 Brute Force

Just purchased a 09 750 Brute force. There is a lot of heat coming off the engine cover on the left side. Very hot on my leg. Is this an issue any one else has had?

Yeah, my 2009 BF 750 is hot near the sides too when I ride slow... not bad with boots and jeans on though... seems normal. thats alot of freakin motor under all that plastic. Heat has to go somewhere I guess.

I don't have a brute but is the heat light on? If it isn't you shouldn't have to worry about it. Just make sure your fan is running cause it will overheat if it doesn't. A freind I ride with had that problem then took his seat off and found a loose wire.
