predator 50 electrical problem?

it ran good for probably 20 min then it started missing at higher speeds and noticed if horn was on engine would start to die. Turned switches while riding and nothing changed. while riding held horn on until engine killed, tried starting and all it did was crank wouldn't fire. let sit for a few hours and started right up and ran fine. What is bad? coil, cdi, spark plug, horn?

sounds like a stator

Not stator. It turned out to be the ignition switch had a short in it so when horn or tail light was on it would ground the ignition through either one. New switch and everything works great.
