a friend of mine is bringing over a sportsman 500 or 700 for me to figure out. he said it has a carb on it. his friend tried to jump start it off his truck battery. it has lost all spark since trying to jump it. he said they replaced the stator and coil. still no spark. i think it might be the cdi. any suggestions. i also wonder if there is a hidden fuse blown also. thanks for any help.

i have a 90 polaris that had the same prob. there was a fuse under the seat in the mess of wires, it is the long glass type fuse in a white clip together holder. i changed everything you did and finally changed the cdi and it runs fine
