07 KFX 50 battery dies

My sons KFX 50 can go more than a few days to a week without the battery dying. We replaced it with a factory battery and the same thing is happening. All of our other 4 wheelers go months without needing to be charged. Can anyone tell what could be draining the battery. Also, how do I do a test to see and what should it be at. Thank you.

You will need a battery load tester to actually verifiy if the battery is bad or not. I had to replace it in my sons quad after a year ,but I didnt replace it with the stock one. I just cross referenced the battery part number and bought a different brand. What you can do also is get a test light at wal-mart for like 10 bucks and hook it up and start poking around to make sure there is nothing drawing a current. At the same time, you do have to remember a battery will still discharge current since its hooked up. If you cant find a problem, just start disconnecting the neg. battery cable after use.
