Motor for an 03 Cannibal? What are my choices

I have a complete cannibal roller with oh about 30 minutes (yep 30 minutes). I have searched for a motor for past month but I've come up with nothing. Now I have thought about a different motor. I have 2 thoughts.
1-yfz or CRF 400-450cc motor

2- Small 2 stroke chinese motor (sprocket is on right and brake hub is on left so it matches up decently) and make it into a mini quad racer.

Im leaning more towards the 400cc+ 4 stroke motor but have no idea where I would even get motor mounts made. I really do not want to weld onto the frame at all.

thanks for any input.

i looked last night and didnt see any that were still for sale. I bought the roller about 6 years ago from a guy that his engine blew up on him and its been sitting in my house in california for that long and im now getting to it.

I have been told JB Racing can make a frame cradle for YZ426F to Cannondale. I haven't contacted them about this. I also hear that to switch the sprocket, all you have to do is flop the bearing carrier and axle 180 degrees. I wanted to do this same hybrid. Good luck!

I have heard the same thing about the bearing carrier. Do you have a phone number by chance to JB Racing?

Hey erbilabuc, I know where a 2002 Cannibal is for sale for $1,700. The motor off of the bike and is disassembled and just needs to be put back togther, from what I understand. The rest of the bike is together though. I thought about picking it up myself but I know nothing about the dales and the motors are odd. Just thought I would let ya know. He may part with the whole motor but you would have to contact him. If you want the Craigslist ad hit me up.
