Hey guys brought this bike and thought it had single ring piston but when I pulled it apart it had a double ring piston.It has a copper oring head gasket with high comp. head. Will it be alright to run single ring piston.Does the double ring hold the higher comp. better?

both of the engine guys I have used say to use the double ring piston for better compression and more reliability.
