I just bought my third KTM quad a 450 that came with the Baldwin racing port and polish head upgrade. $6114.50 out the door I could not pass it up. Hillsborro Motorsports said they were going to get 20 more it anyone is looking. Since I am going to be taking the head off I will upgrade the 450 to a 525, 540 or ? I want something that is going to be dependable. I play in the sand at the oregon coast most of the time.

is the 540, 570 or 600 kit less dependable than the 525?

has anyone upgraded from a 525 to a larger kit and have the a new 525 cycl kit they want to sell? I have not been unhappy with my current 525. Just decided to do the head work to the new 450 instead of my year and a half old 525.

I am going to have Baldwin racing do the carb and add there oil cooler they make. Any other suggestions while I have it apart?

anyone run across any deals on the kits. So far I found the 540 kit for $830

Ive heard great results with going with the 540 kit very fast & dependable. Go to www.KTMATVHQ.com. Most of the KTM owners use the KTMATVHQ site so youll get alot better responses for your question there.
