Anyway to get power out of your bike easily???

So what i am wondering here is like on honda if you cut a wire it opens the bike up. I was just wondering if there is anything like that on my 04 yfz? If not, what are some good add-ons for these bikes. My 04 has a slip-on exhaust, and K&N filter. The bike is also jetted. Im not looking to rebuild the motor, but besides that what would open this bike up? Thanks for your replies!

uni air filter
remove box lid
slipon pipe
zip tie mod

thats about all u gonna get outta it unless u want to get a HC piston and all that cams etc.

if u have the big razr2 tires it should have quite abit of top end, u could drop a tooth in the front since u have xc tires and get some more power.

Well the tires i run in the back are only 20 inch tires. They are not the 22's. So it doesnt help me on the top end.

you can bore it out, intake, exhaust... not sure what some of the other stuff is though..

What type of pipe you have on it?

Cams
port and polish(one of the best things)
high compression piston
velocity intake
Idk theres tonssss of stuff you can do

eliminates the bog when u punch the gas, so it dosent fall on its face. it helped mine alot

That should be a sticky! I've never even heard of that, I just did it and it's insanely better, doesnt cut out when I punch it. R&D makes a heavy duty spring to do it "right". I'll be ordering that soon.

im pretty sure its posted on here somewheres, i know it is on yfzcentral.com step by step. i never bought a R&D or quickshot2 or changed the leak jets. my carb is all stock except the jetting and air screw with the zip tie mod done to the accel pump.

i have NO BOG at all 0%. i love it

Nice. Mine was completely cutting off, I was having a hell of a time figuring it out. I get a little hiccup now and a pop with a shot of flame on the decel so my jettings still a little off.

yeh try pilot jet. my jetting was a little rich and i change my header to a full hmf header and now the jetting is perfect starts right up cold or hott first crank

Thanks for the tip, I will try that.

I just put a full HMF on mine and now rejetting it.
I did change my leak jet to a 35 before to help with the bog, and it did smooth it out a little but not enough.

i have a 172 main and 46 pilot and stock needle in 3rd clip.
