They are!! If youre gonna be racing a lot, they willl make you. I know the D5 Quad Ref very well, and he will probly be on my back if I dont run the right colors.

hey what colors are c and d. and if i jump up to c am i gonna have to change colors?
Posted by: racerx573
On the D5 site, they did not list a color for D. But C is yellow. If you move up you'll have to change. I would start in the C class. The D class will be a joke. If it makes ya feel all big and bad beatin Blasters and Warriors on your 400EX then go for D.

Your district cant make you run that color background. That is an AMA/ATVA rule. And that color is used and or reserved for Pro-Am riders. We run them in all the Pro-Am classes. A,B,C or beginners use white on black or black on white. While Pros use blue. I would definitely ask your ref to double check the rules. Just to be safe if you goto a National. The Nationals might make you change the backgrounds if you dont run a Pro-Am class. Not flaming just passing the info. Mo

There's no # ruling for the GNC's besides the Pros running blue. I asked on ******** and they told me it is only recommended. The reason for our district doing this is for ease of scoring. They will probly run an A&B and C&D , that way its not as much of a hassle to keep score.

Here in D3. They don't really inforce the rules. The Pros run what ever they want. Us in the Ams run whatever but the Novice have to run WHite with Black numbers. I think it sorta sucks. But I in Am so it don't matter for me.

(I was overshootin it big time when that shot was snapped. I overdid it by about 20 feet. LOL
) You get like 30 yard run at it or so, and I was in 4th tapped when the pic was taken. I usually can coast up it in 4th, but 4th 1/2 or less will make it on the R. So 3rd on on EX will be plenty fine.
