Propegs are the only way to go whether they are AC or another brand. I sold my DGs to get some AC and I love them. And you dont need the heel plates, I threw mine in the bottom of the closet.

can u get those heelkicks for the std. nerf bars? is there a way to mount them, and are they available for the std (non pro-peg) nerfs?

the new pegs are all aluminum just like the old ones. people have bought them for *** low as 150$ from differnt shops. the heel kicks are only for the propegs. at this time we do not make stock replacement heel kicks. there is a company that does but i couldnt tell you who it is.

So, if i ordered those from a shop, would I call it the "new style" AC Pro peg Nerfs and i would also have to say I want heelkicks ?

Your gonna get dirty anyways riding in mud so why fight it... cut the tires... Anyways I just get off my quad and push it back....

i say the IMS pegs with standard AC nerfs. because i have regular Pro Pegs and they wear down because they are aluminum. the IMS pegs are steel and won't wear down.

i know they make the pro-pegs for an R, but do they make them w/ the heel kicks? I really like them but i dont think i have ever seen them?

no, we never made heel kicks for the r's. r's never had them from the factory. we make the kicks to replace the stockers to avoid the liability of telling the customer to remove a peice of stock safty equipment.

i like the new style AC nerf bars with the healkicks like the ones in ya's pictures. where did ya order them from? iv seen them at carbides motoworld for 189.00 they also have polished ones for 209.00 but they do not list a polished one for the 400ex. do they make a polished one for the ex? wheres the cheapest place to get them? any help is apreciated....

the ones on my bike are our patterns that we used for photos and instructions. we no longer offer any thing in polish. it was getting to costly.

Well I have Pro Pegs now, so I got the answer for my post. I like my pro-pegs, and when they wear I will just get an extender.

i say you just go with the stock pegs and some normal ac aluminum nerfs and take the heel kicks off why pay the extra money when you could have it to put towards something to make your bike handle better or go faster
