2005 Sportsman 500 problem.

A buddy has a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500 that has a clunk in the front end. He said it sounds similar to the noise he had before he tightened his rear chain, is there a front drive chain or something that needs adjustment on this thing? I'm not familiar with the 4wd setup on quads, so please dont laugh too hard at me, lol. Thanks doods. Dan

It could also be a broken axle, one of my buddys 04' polaris 600twin had a broken front axle and it made a good amount of noise

it could also be the one of the half shafts look at the boots that overs the gears it could be torn open and water/mud/junk couldve gotten in there and he might have to replace the boot or replace the half shaft if the gears are wrecked
