Just leave it on the on position and your fine the carb only takes gas by suction when its running so the worst you'll have is the bowl of the carb drain

The 660 raptor petcock is a direct swap. I put one on mine to run the FCR carb

so what all petcocks can you use in a 2006 kfx400? does it matter the year of the raptor 660? could i just go to a dealer and buy one for a raptor or whatever and slap it in my kfx? please let me know because i think my petcock is bad in my kfx! thank you for your time!
