05 KFX 80 eng won't turnover

Hello All, Need some assistance please. My boy ATV won't turnover. I've replaced the battery & start switch relay...no help.
Removed the starter and it turns with power supplied. Opened up the old start relay switch and depressed the armature and the motor will turn over...not run with key & start switch lever off. Will not turnover with key & start switch on and start button depressed. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Nick!!!
