are the 300ex's motor mounts aluminum or what i was thinkin about polishing them like i did with my shifter, brake pedel,throttle cover, reverse lever, and brake resivior cover and also my calipers so will i be able to do my motor mounts like did with the rest? i use mothers polish after i got all of them polished

they r steal....i polished mine but the i clear coated them
