im new to this whole atv thing so i need help. i recently bought a 86 suzuki 250 and was told i need new carb but the thang is i dont no what fits it. im wanting a aftermarket carb cause tha motor has been bored 50 over, after market reeds and exhaust the thing is what fits this thing,like im wantin to bid on ebay but i dont no which years will fit an 86. and will a trx 250r carb fit mine?

Stock on that is a 34mm, just look for a bigger two stroke carb, if you buy anything larger than a 38mm you're wasting your money with what little work is done on the motor.

I would say even a 38mm carb is too much with those mods. I have Keihin 38mm PWK Airstryker carb on mine, but that is with porting and other work.

Unless you plan more mods later, I would just get another Mikuni 34mm flat slide stock carb for your LT. Usually see them on ebay. At most you will have to go up a couple sizes on the jets and move the clip on the needle jet down a notch or 2 for a richer setting.
