Skowhegan, Maine – June 7th. Team Maine Racing’s Youth ATV-MX Racer, Drew Blackstone had another successful day at the track.

Drew raced the ATV 7-9 and the Mini ATV Open Classes at the Skowhegan Sportsman Club put on by SNS Racing.

This was the 1st time since 2006 the youth ATVs were allowed to run the full track in Mini ATV Open and Drew was very excited to run the full track for the 1st time at the track he started racing at and had hopes of putting his #44x PCS Performance Apex at the top of the Podium.

3 of the other racers that attended also compete in the NEATV-MX Series that Drew competes in, 1 of which was the 2008 Sportsman Club Track Champion.

Drew races at the Sportsman Club when it doesn’t conflict with the NEATV-MX Series

He had a perfect day Racing in which he raced 4 moto’s, got all 4 Hole Shots, led all 18 laps and got 4 moto wins to bring home a 1st place finish in Both Classes!

There was quite a battle behind him between 2 racers that were both trying to put pressure on Drew but he never let them get close enough to attempt to pass him.

Drew is currently 4th overall in the very competitive 90 Auto Jr. Class at NEATV-MX.

Special thanks to Drew’s Sponsors; G-Force Powersports, PCS Performance, Team Maine Racing, Coutt’s Bros., Crystyle Photography, DRT Racing, Scott Goggles, Carrier Signs, Blackstone Financial Services and R. Blackstone Associates.

Congrats Drew you were flying ! Track was way on the dusty side
Our 70 had a roller issue for the first race giving use a dnf then not running 100 the rest of the day . Was very nice to run the full track Landon Loves the step up on the back side . We know you were excited to run the full track aswell . Again Great job Drew!

congrats, drew. sounds like you had a perfect weekend and a
very fast quad. also noticed you switched over to an apex and it
is working out well. don't know if we are going to see ya guys
this year but good luck the rest of the season.

yeah Jim we are running Apexs this year more due to having several fall in my lap. I still have both DRR Frames, 1 getting used to fit parts by a shop building Parts for G-force and the other tempting me everytime I look at it to rebuild it.

Drew had a blast and rode his butt off to run so well that day because both the kids behind him would have taken advantage of an major mistakes.

I dont think I was smiling as much as Drew was on the way home when it sunk into him what he had just done. Best part was we had fun racing!
