I have an 87 quadracer and I'm leaking gas out of one of the hoses that come down by the footpeg. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated

Those are the carb vent lines. Take the carb off, remove the bowl. Spray carb cleaner in bowl, lifting the float to clean the float valve too. Clean the main and pilot jets. Mostly your prob sounds like a sticking float valve. But clean everything out while apart. Can't remember the spec now, but if you have a manual check the float height. If you don't a manual, I can check mine later for you.

btw... If the bowl screws haven't been removed for awhile, an impact driver works best for getting those Phillips heads out without stripping.
