ltz90 will not start

At first you could turn key off on several times flip the on run switch back and forth and keep hitting the start button and it would finaly start. but now it will do nothing. I tried a new off and run start switch on the left handle bar but this did nothing. I think now it is some kind of short any one have this problem any suggestions.
