Ok I checked the compression on the 02 prairie 400, which was 40. Pretty low huh. Well I call the dealer and they say between 41-like 75. So ok im on the low end. Im wondering if it could be the valves that are screwing everything up. I put the T in the window, I assume thats TDC. I do not have a manual so any help would be greatly appriciated. So anyway at TDC there is no play at all in either intake or exhaust. I do have another thread on here asking for the valve clearances, I cant find them anywhere. Just wanna make sure I am indeed at TDC. Never know every bike is somewhat different. I mechanically inclined and do know what im doin, but like I said when you start doubting yourself on a problem then I would rather get some advice. Oh I guess I should tell ya Fire is good, Fuel is good, Air is good. Not spitting sputtering or anything, starter just keeps turning over.
