Any idea why it shocks you threw the throtel??

My 01 kasea 50 will shock you a good one some times
I have the kill switch cut off and it still does it any ideas?

Put ground from the motor to the frame that should remove the shock and give you better top end.

try switching the wires around it most likely wire bacwards it should be long wire to the positive side of the coil sort wire to ground

Being a 2001 model, you could also have a wire rubbed thru. Simplifing theb wiring harness if the elec. start isn't needed could help.
