I know this is supposed to be a good mod, but can somebody tell me the difference in length in the throttle cable from the 400ex to 300ex if I put a 400ex carb on.

Can a 400ex throttle cable work on a 300ex carb?

I just bought a 400ex carb for my sones 300ex from East Coast ATV and he told me my 300ex cable will work..........now what I need to know is were to start on the jetting.....???????

I have a 400ex carb waiting to go on. I was hoping there was a test person to help start us out.

I have delayed so long I have to find the box I put the carb in

My wife is happy with the 330 kit but I am not happy with it yet. I am hoping Yamaha comes out with a 250 with reverse but if they don't I will have to pull out the box and give it a shot as well.

Still working on jetting right now we're at 42/158. A lot more power he loves it.

I started with a 152 and it was popping a little I had a 155 but I went with the 158 and it seams to be ok. It has a White Brothers full system and a Uni filter with no lid on the air box and some mild porting.

Yes....he says it has more power. For the money I'm happy for now.

Yeah...if I had to do it all over again I would have gotten her a 400ex and lowered it a bit.

Unfortunately now it is "HER QUAD" so I will never be able to get rid of it. 400ex arms with a lonestar extended swinger and spacers in the rear. It just never ends.

Fortunately for you in a couple years you will be moving to a 450.
