Compression and Timing for methanol

What are you guys running with the pro-x big bore cylinders on methanol? I have ~170 psi cranking compression right now, and when I put on the CR ignition, I forgot to notch out the stator plate so the ignition is at 0 degrees advance.

Just looking to make some small improvements to my 310 without breaking the bank. What are the head/home options when using an ESR head? I may get another dome cut for my application.

Thanks,
Keith

Nobody?

Well my compression is down to about 80 pounds since I cracked my piston on the intake side

how do you tell the crank pressure? the only way i've known to check the compression is the the compression tester in the spark plug hole...

What I meant by cranking compression is the compression that the tester sees when my foot is kicking the engine over, not when it's spinning at 7k rpm. I'm sure theres some difference between the two.
