250X/300EX front brake question

It is my understanding, per a parts listing I saw on ebay, that the 400EX front brakes work on 250x/300exs. Is this true or is the ebay listing wrong? I am mainly referring to the front calipers. I either need to get new front calipers for my 250x or rebuild the ones I have. I thought I would verify the 400ex brakes to help expand my search. Any input on this is greatly appreciated.
