I just bought a honda TRX 300EX and the battery died while i was riding. I tried starting it for about ten min not knowing what was wrong but now it is stalling out agter i replaced the battery. Did i flood it or any other ideas would help?

it isnt flooded. have you checked to see if the regulator/rectifier is charging the battery?

What is that? haha
And how do i do that?

check and see if your stator is working and if you're regulator is working correctly.

get a volt meter and put it on DC volts to test the battery... put the red tester on the positive and black on the negative and when your bike is running it should read between 13.5 and 14.5 volts. if its reading anything lower than that you have a problem with either your voltage regulator or your stator...although i dont believe your bike will run if your stator is bad because it wont have any spark... you also could check your carb to see if its dirty because a lot of times the pilot jet get clogged and the bike wont start and will stall out and low RPMs.
good luck.

Alright thanks. And it will start and run but it stalls when im not pushing the gas like when your punching it. This is the what you are talking about right?
Thanks for everything so far

if you quickly snap the throttle just about every bike stalls out because the air fuel mixture goes WAYYYYY lean when you punch the throttle really quick and it'll just lean out and die.... i fixed that by puttin a bigger pilot jet in my carb.

Alright thanks i appreciate everything
