Looking for some help got a apex 90 thats blowing antifreeze out of overflow bottle. As long as there is antifreeze in raditor and bottle seems like its not overheating but losing antifreeze from bottle.

is it a constant flow or like puff puff puff?

Posted by: 3racers

just a puff puff ran it in a half hour race lost aleast half of fluid in system

guy I got bike from said he added a piece of hose inside of bottle does that matter what should be inside of bottle? Hose 3 or 4 inches long or no hose?

the hose should reach down in the bottle to the fluid so when the quad needs fluid it can suck it back i think? lol but first how does it run? im wondering if the head o-ring is leaking under compression.

when I purchased mine it did the same thing I found out the hose to the pump was on backwards and was pinched, also I found out dc motorsorts is also workin to make a billet pump impeller

I had the same problem with a brand new apex 90cc, ended up being the larger o-ring, letting the hot engine gases into the water jacket and boiling it.
