buddys got a 04 blaster that bogged when he got it and then he bought new reeds and now after 3 days its back to doing it again....held my hand against the silencer and it appears to not have good compression, it starts and idles but when you hit the throttle is bogs out it has enough power to put around but no pull whatsoever

What size main jet? You could just take the air filter off and see if it runs better. I seen a stock blaster with a 280 main jet do that,.
