ds90x can am clutch ?

My son's bike has about 5 hours on it and it shredded the belt. i am wondering how this system works. I took it apart and it has significant play(wobble) on the front pulley. Is that normal?

No thats not right at all. check to see if you have all your rollers and that they are moving freely. also behind that clutch there is another piece that has 3 springs with 3 small pins or keys. make sure there all in.
