if youre going to put a 150 or 160 motor in, there has been problems with the kick start bearings on the shaft that have been breaking. this means you have to split the cases to fix it. search the threads at planetminis.com for more info. just hate to see anyone put one in and it breaks, and the little ones cant ride.

It's not all 150 or 160 motors. You didn't specify what type of motor that was having the issue. It's the YX 150/160 motor ONLY. There haven't been any issues with the YX140's.

what do you mean? you have a problem with youre yx 140?

Yeah, the bearing on it went just like the YX150's and 160's. The bearings that they put in them just don't hold up from the kickback of the motor. He's sending me a updated stronger bearing to put in it tomorrow.

actually theres a zongshen 155cc thats out now that should replace these motors
first few hunders are 100% good to go
and they run strong
