Come on out and join us for a race through the marshy bottoms and rolling hills of northwest Louisiana April 25 and 26, 2009. There is an MX track incorporated into this XC course so things will be interesting for the cross country racers to negotiate the whoops and jumps.

will there be more wide open running or some tight woods again?

This track has a nice MX track a mile long, not too technical, a fun track really. There's 5 miles of woods, some tight, but generally more open than Cave Hill, but not the short runs down fire roads like at Cave Hill either. There was two bad spots last year, a spillway for a pond and a creek crossing. David said the property owner built bridges across these two bad spots, but I'd bet that the bridges won't last the weekend.

Nice pics, that was a really good race. I didn't get the finish I wanted, turns out I had a stomach virus that hit me like a 2x4 about half way through the race; stomach was in knots and doing flips. I felt lucky to finish the race.

437, I know you had a good finish. 422 is a buddy of mine and he said you stalked him the whole race. He was worried you were gonna slip up on him in the woods.

ill be at maypearl, im meeting up with randy fox and lucas berry in arkansas then hitchin a ride the rest of the way with them. cosinostra, you didnt happen to get any pics of #98 in the B class?? im gettin impatient with the snapfish thing.

My daughter tries very hard to get good pictures and is getting better. She was standing on top of the 180 degree left-hander at the back of the MX track for a time in the last race. She took this shot, perhaps her best to date, certainly one of my favorites.

Pappy always says the eyes tell the story and I tend to agree. I like to be able to see the eyes in a racing action shot. This is me in the corner with my nemesis in hot pursuit in the background.

Yeah, it wouldn't take much to bribe her, she loves the whole quad racing scene and wants to be a better photog so she'd probably love to.
