recently installed new ported head on bike do i need to bleed off the coolant lines from on top of engine if so what are the steps never reinstaled head on these kinds of bike s thanks for any help i can get

Start with a cold motor and off, open bleeder valve on front of head with 8mm wrench, leave open till coolant comes out and add coolant in radiator till runs out bleeder, gravity will draw it out and close bleeder. Pretty simple job. Just for a peace of mind you should do this, doesn't cost anything to be sure.
