putting brake drum back on

So i took my rancher apart to put new wheel bearings and to put new front brakes on and now im having trouble putting the brake drum back on. I got it on once but it seemed extremely tight. is it because the new brakes just need wore down a bit? Can someone help me out?

is it your front or rear brake drum. cause there is two different ways to fix that problem
