hello all,
i have a 2002 sportsman 700, when i turn to weel to the left there is a metal knocking noise comming from the back end, not sure what it is, does it in forward and reverse, but only when you turn to the left.
any sugestions, ,,iim inclined to think its the u joint and is just knocking on one side from the added pressure on the weel,

any ideas,

I had the same problem and it was the cv joint on the axle. If you don't see any metal to metal rubbing then i would think its the axle.
