Is this a 2 Stroke or a 4 Stroke?
If its a 2 Stroke, I recommend a good lower unit oil (like the stuff you put in the bottom of boat engines). It can handle the shock better than standard gear oils and is far less likely to foam up on you. I use the Shell Nautilus Gear Oil (Marine) its still a 90weight gear oil, but works amazing in these small transmissions. The transmission takes about 120cc of fluid in the one without reverse and 300cc of fluid in the reverse model
If its a 4 Stroke, I don't know much about them, so i'll quote the manual. that should be a good starting point for you.
Engine Oil SAE 20W-40 takes about 0.8litres
Transmission SAE 80/90 says it takes 300CC (this may be the model with reverse though).
With the transmission, it doesn't hurt anything (except the environment) to over fill it a bit as the overage will just spill out the vent tube.
I hope that helps. If you need or want the manual, let me know
