I def. think you should be able to on 3.5 gallons. Im hoping anyways

if your not hammer down the ENTIRE race then you should be ok. almost all sport bike racers that even run close to fast stop and get a splash of fuel to make sure they finish. its hard to say YES or NO. some bikes do some dont. if its muddy and your spinning a lot then your not going to make it. if its really dry and your running at full speed all the time you might not make it either. if its a fast track and you make 5-6 laps you definatly will not make it. so i would say, the safe bet is to fill a gallon milk jug up with gas and use that as a quick fill on your 2nd or 3rd lap to be safe.

Great idea!

1. Fill it with gas.

2. Dump it over in the tank.

3. Cut a hole with an icepick so it drains even faster!

thanks guys!!

i've made the gncc on the lead lap on the 450R without refueling, that was with the Clarke tank and a sparks motor!!

I was wondering how the 525's were for mpg?

I ran River Ranch and Georgia and didnt stop to refuel.

I just done big buck 5 laps and still had a good bit left over and im running a dasa pipe and a quick shot on my 450 xc

I have completed the entire race at all the GNCC's this year in Junior A on my 450XC and a guy with a 525 that I go to races with also finishes the entire race on a tank

i ran the 525 outta gas at the Mile Mnt. AMA Harescramble
last lap a few miles form the finish, put it on reserve and made it to the checkers...finish time was 2hours 45 minutes though!!! ???
