predator 90 fuel shut off valve

I took my boys pedator 90 to the track to do some testing -oval flat track-when coming out of the corner it bogs down like it is running out of fuel.after more checking thats what is happening.cleaned tank and changed fuel line,same problem.my question is could the fuel shut off valve be resticting the fuel flow.wounding if the apex and drr have bigger valves for better flow.i know there are some flat track racers here.anyone have the same problem.

How much fuel do you have in the tank. You could be uncovering the fuel pickup in the tank.

tank had 1gallon of fresh fuel so i would guess 1/2 to 3/4 full
