Diamond J Customs makes lowering kits for the 250ex. Just check out their website at http://diamondjcustoms.com. They also have shock conversion kits. (I'm considering in buying one.)

look at this guys
its a 6 inch lowering and widening kit
he has stock shocks on it though

the diamond j website will give you a list of useable shocks

i dont think anyone does

i think a shorter set of tires and maybe a shorter shock could work

i know nothing about what shock though
