500 renegade vs 700 grizzly?

Has anyone run against a 700 grizz on a 500 renegade? I want to race the ute class next year so I bike shopping. Everyone says the Can Ams run great. I'm leaning towards a 650 outlander but I just got word the renegade is going to be legal in the ute class where I race. I like the renegade, but most guys are running the 700 grizz and don't want to give up to much power.

I don't know for certain, but I've been told the 500 slightly out runs the 700 Grizzly. That is stock for stock. If you haven't already bought the 500, I'd check on 800... their are some smoking deals out there on 07 models. The 07 have more snap than the 08 or 09 models.
