Tires Rubbing Nerf Bars!!

So me being the idiot i am had my nerf's mounted BEFORE i changed my wheels. They were mounted when i had the stock 19x7x8 wheels & tires on. I just bought my new Douglas 10X5's and Holeshot mxr6's got em mounted. Put them on & now my tires are rubbing my nerf bars when i turn the wheel. I think i have full turn when i turn my handlebars, but they are def. rubbing pretty bad. When you push the quad around the garage it almost makes it hold up when the tires hit. It already has 5 inch spacers on the front, and its still rubbing. I have a set of Hetrick +3 A-Arms on the way now. Once those are on, and with the spacers. I'll be looking at +11 total in the front. Hopefully this will be enough to clear the tires from rubbing. Has anyone else had this problem? I hate to break the weld on my nerf bars, and have them remounted. And i do not want to resort back to the stock 19X7X8. Any suggestions if the a-arms dont do it?

post a picture, I want to see what a +11 is going to look like
I would be scared to break it

hahaha...okay i will, right now my front is just at +5 I put 2.5 inch spacers on each side. Once i get the hetrick a-arms ill def. post a pic. My back is 8 inches right now, and i thought that +11 would be too much in the front. But with the way my back is sitting at +8, it looks to me like +11 in the front is gonna even it up nicely. I was afraid if would break also. I did a good bit of research, and mostly everyone said they wouldnt go now more then +10 in the front, sp i figure i'll be alright. BUT I'm not racing either. Sadly im a 25 year old girl, that only weighs about 90 pounds, so a hopped up Kasea 90 carries me around nicely...haha...I dont really know if i would trust the +11 in the air too much, but for where i ride, it should be just fine, if not i have a backup set of +1 spacers. BTW theres a new mini quad forum, dedicated to strictly mini's....check it out.

since your small and not an agressive rider you will prob. be ok
but if you get friendly with a tree or rock it could have the same effect as coming off a jump
you may want to check and see if the rims cam be flipped
(on most atv's it gains a few inches each side) and is stronger than spacers
and cheap

Yea im thinking i should be okay...i dont ride super hard. I thought about flipping the rims, but i just bought new douglas wheels & i dont wanna drill them out for the valve stems. Im just gonna give it a try with the 2.5 inch spacers & +6 a-arms and see what happens. I can always go smaller...

We are running +6 A-arms on our Kasea.
With a +12 Axle. It will ride much smoother and the cornering
will be alot more stable!!
You will love the width ounce you get used to it!!

The spacers are probably why the tires are rubbing the nerf bars in the first place. When you space out the rims on the front it changes the geometry totally. When you turn, the tires actually move completely different than without the spacers and the "inside" tire in a turn is going to actually move further back than without a spacer. The new a-arms are more than likely +3 +1 as well. That is they should be 1" forward, making the wheelbase 1" longer, thus moving the front tires further away from the nerf bars.
Usually when you put wheel spacers on the front of a quad it makes the steering really twitchy and is very hard to ride. I would actually take the wheel spacers off and throw them away, or sell them on Ebay. My son races his Predator 90 with +3 +1 a-arms and just 2.5" wheel spacers in the back. I have ridden it and it is more than stable enough for racing.
