i cant get the tranny cover off. the one that is behind the clutch. trying to get ready for tomorrow. is there anything holding it from the sprocket side.

No there's nothing holding it. It can be hard to get off. There are 2 tabs... 1 on the left and 1 on the bottom. Use a long screw driver and using the bottom of the case as the pivot point pop it straight out. Hope it helps

Just make sure you have ALL the bolts out. Have seen people make that mistake and it is fairly costly.

Another thing you can try is to TAP. I say TAP on the sprocket shaft. I too have had problems getting the cover off. Anymore I tap on the shaft and the cover comes right off.
